Educational objectives: The teaching leading to the acquiring of the official title of Technical Engineer in Fruit and Vegetable Farming and Gardening must provide adequate training in the theoretical principles and in the technology specific to this Technical Engineering course.
Professional options: Professional activities in this field are regulated by law and are supervised by the Official College of Agricultural Enginnering Technicians.
This qualification enables the holder to carry out multiple activities in the field of agriculture; enhancing agricultural exploitations through planning of irrigation, sowing, harvesting, feeding, pest and disease control, genetics, management and treatment of agro-industrial waste; financial advice, evaluation of country estates and agro-industrial companies, topographical surveying and environmental studies.
The holder may carry out activities for public administration and private companies, as well as in teaching.
